Sergey Lavrov answered question of journalist from Bashkiria

At the forum of contemporary journalism in Sochi, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov answered a question of a Bashkir journalist regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
In Sochi, Sergey Lavrov arrived at a meeting with numerous journalists from different regions of the country - participants of the Russia-2021 forum immediately after the talks in Minsk.
Many questions posed to the Russian Foreign Minister were related to the international situation, foreign and domestic policy, religion, COVID-19, vaccination, and personal questions.
The question of the chairman of the Union of Journalists of Bashkiria, Vadut Iskhakov, addressed to Sergey Lavrov, concerned the problematic situation in Afghanistan. In particular, whether the international community will recognize the Taliban.
Answering this question, the Russian Foreign Minister first noted that Ufa was one of the cities to produce the anti-coronavirus vaccine "Sputnik V".
As for the state of affairs in Afghanistan, in the opinion of the Russian Foreign Minister, it is impossible to resolve the current situation without uniting in the political process all ethnic groups living in this country.
At the same time, it cannot do without the international community's help, he stressed. It is no coincidence that an international conference on the Afghan problem is to be held very soon, Sergey Lavrov told reporters.
The large-scale forum of contemporary journalism "Russia-2021" is held for the 25th time. Traditionally, journalists from all over the country, including Bashkiria, come to Sochi to participate in this media forum. The Bashkir delegation includes representatives of the republican and regional media.
