Radiy Khabirov about National Final: WorldSkills is labor and professions festival

Today, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, visited the Park of Young Professionals, where the WorldSkills Russia 2021 National Final takes place from August 25 to 29. At the site of the Geoscan group of companies, the Head of the Region assessed the possibilities of producing unmanned helicopters and air taxis. The Geoscan-Ufa enterprise launched its production in 2021 and will become a part of the republic's aviation cluster. Details of the project are planned to be discussed today at the next “Investment Hour” session.

According to Alexey Semyonov, General Director of the Geoscan Group of Companies, cooperation with the republic will increase both the competence of the enterprise itself and the competence of the region in the production of such equipment.

In the future, the company will become a resident of a new special economic zone of a technology-innovative type, the creation of which the Head of Bashkortostan announced in his Address to the State Assembly – Kurultay RB on January 28.

Radiy Khabirov also examined the USATU stand with new developments in the field of aircraft construction and talked with experts of the competence "Operation of agricultural machinery".

In a separate pavilion, there are competencies "Aesthetic cosmetology", "Dentistry", "Hairdressing art", where Radiy Khabirov talked with the main experts of these areas.

Tatiana Fadeeva, the chief expert of the "Beekeeping" competence, said that in preparation for the National Final, participants had been selected in six regions of Russia. Representatives of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Dagestan, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Orenburg Region work at the site.

In a separate pavilion, competencies related to construction are collected. For the first time in the championship, the "Organization of construction production" was presented.

The "Maintenance of aviation equipment" competence is relevant for the republic's economy in terms of personnel potential for the aviation industry.

Radiy Khabirov also examined the try-a-skill interactive playgrounds for career guidance activity.

At the Bashkir Soda Company stand, the Head of Bashkortostan watched a presentation on the history and current activities of the enterprise.

According to him, the holding of the championship solves two problems: increasing the prestige of blue-collar professions and vocational education and an opportunity for self-realization.

General Director of the Agency for the Development of Professional Skills (WorldSkills Russia) Robert Urazov highly appreciated the level of preparation of the republic for the National Final.
