Vladimir Putin announced the need to increase the rate of vaccination against COVID. At the same time, according to the president, the vaccination mustn't be imposed but "should be explained".

"Our main task now is to increase the rate of vaccination in the country. It is crucial to convince people of the need to get vaccinated as this is the only way to curb the epidemic. It cannot be imposed," TASS quotes Putin as saying at a meeting with members of the government.

The head of state also added that it is necessary to explain "in detail and skillfully" the complex questions of citizens about vaccination.
