Bashkiria presented its stand at MAKS air show for first time

Bashkortostan first presented a stand at the MAKS-2021 International Air Show. Officially, the republic is represented by its Head Radiy Khabirov.

"Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, Ufa Instrument-Making Production Association, UEC-UMPO, Tekhpromservice enterprises, Engines for Aviation, Ufa Mechanics, the regional branch of the Russian Cosmonautics Federation and our Ufa State Aviation Technical University represent our republic at MAKS-2021", the Head of the Region said.

The Head of Bashkiria clarified that earlier, some republican enterprises participated at the international air show, but for the first time, they gathered together. The region is presented as the "future capital of drones".

"Our State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations helped to organize a stand for republican enterprises. We subsidized the exhibitors 30% of the stand costs with the help of federal funding. The main task is to show our capabilities and our potential in the aerospace direction. Moreover, we have solid opportunities and potential, with great traditions and prospects," Radiy Khabirov marked.
