Radiy Khabirov met with First Deputy Chairman of Communist Party Central Committee RF Yuri Afonin

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at a meeting with Yuri Afonin, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources, Property and Land Relations, discussed preparations for the upcoming elections to the Russian parliament.

"The upcoming election campaign will be quite vigorous. We see that the parties have started their preparations very actively. Of course, we would like to build a working relationship with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, one of the largest political parties in Russia, with a history, a serious asset, and the second-largest faction in the State Duma. We all need fair elections, transparent procedures. We will ensure this," Radiy Khabirov stressed.

Yuri Afonin also noted the need for constructive cooperation between the party and the region and positively assessed the changes that were taking place in Bashkortostan.

"I have not been to the republic for a long time. Today from the plane, it was possible to see both the sown fields and order in the territories at a low altitude. Ufa was also pleasantly surprised: new buildings, good roads, construction sites ... It can be seen that the region is being improved, and this is very pleasant," Yuri Afonin said.
