Radiy Khabirov honored rescuers and firefighters of Bashkiria

Today, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, during the presentation of state awards to rescuers and firefighters of the republic, thanked them for their hard work and called them real heroes. According to him, their experience, professionalism, and courage are deeply respected. In a matter of minutes, rescuers and firefighters come to rescue people and act professionally in an emergency. This was the case during the accident at POLIEF, the smoldering ore in the Sibay quarry. Radiy Khabirov noted that rescuers and firefighters worked primarily on prevention, anticipation of dangerous incidents, apply modern equipment and advanced technologies.

Radiy Khabirov said that a new state award had been established in the republic - "Honored Rescuer of Bashkortostan", which that day would be awarded to the most worthy.

The Head of Bashkortostan once again thanked the rescuers and firefighters, having noted that their courage and high professionalism reliably protected the republic's inhabitants from any emergencies.

State awards from Radiy Khabirov were received today by 21 rescuers and a firefighter, and the staff of the Center for Fire Propaganda and Public Relations of the Fire Department of Ufa.

After the awarding ceremony, the Head of Bashkortostan recalled that he had to meet with rescuers and firefighters not in warm offices but at emergency and fire sites. "Please, stay safe; your families are waiting for you at home," Radiy Khabirov concluded.
