Board of Trustees for Geoparks is created in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the Board of Trustees for Geoparks under the Head of the Republic has been created. The corresponding decree was signed by Radiy Khabirov and published on the portal of legal information.

The Board of Trustees performs the functions of a project committee to implement measures for the development of Geoparks of the republic. Its objective is an interaction of representatives of public, scientific, business circles and public authorities of the Russian Federation and Bashkortostan, local governments to make recommendations for the development of Geoparks, increase the effectiveness of relevant measures and initiatives.

The decree approves the regulations and composition of the board. The Board of Trustees is chaired by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov, the Deputy Chairman is the Prime Minister of the Government Andrei Nazarov.

The government was instructed to approve the composition of the working groups.
