Radiy Khabirov visited Ishimbaysky plant "Vityaz"

On April 1, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the General Director of JSC "Concern" Uralvagonzavod" Alexander Potapov visited the production shops of the machine-building company "Vityaz" in the city of Ishimbay. The enterprise is a part of JSC "Uralvagonzavod" of the Rostec State Corporation. The plant, founded in 1977, remains the only Russian manufacturer of Vityaz floating two-link tracked all-terrain vehicle for both civil and military purposes.

Radiy Khabirov and Alexander Potapov visited the automatic-revolver, mechanical assembly shop, press-welding, and assembly shops. They also saw the " Vityaz" vehicles, which are used by the Russian army in the harsh conditions of the Arctic, and swamp-going vehicles.

The Head of the Region in the enterprise's museum presented the enterprise's best employees with state awards of Russia and Bashkortostan.

Radiy Khabirov said that great attention was being paid to the development of Ishimbay. A special economic zone, "Alga," has been created, and extensive work is underway to improve the city. The city will noticeably change by 2022 when the republic celebrates the 90th anniversary of the first Bashkir oil production.

Without exaggeration, Ishimbay's all-terrain vehicles are known throughout the country. Gazprom, Lukoil, Transneft, the Russian Ministry of Defense - this is far from a complete list of customers for the Ishimbay plant's products.

The enterprise is currently implementing an investment project for the serial production of two-link tracked carriers DT-3PM with a total volume of 802.6 million rubles.
