Radiy Khabirov: Bashkir Soda's operation results will benefit residents of our republic

The Bashkir Soda Company (BSC) will be the largest enterprise run by the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov posted on his social media.

According to him, after the court's decision, the state owns almost the whole stake in Bashkir Soda Company JSC.

"Moreover, the President instructed to return 38.3 percent of the company's shares to the republic and transfer another 11.7 percent of shares + 1 share to trust management. Thus, Bashkortostan will receive a controlling stake in BSC. This will be the largest enterprise that the republic will manage. That is, the results of the plant's activities will not flow into offshores and the purchase of elite real estate outside the country but will benefit people, ordinary residents of our republic. They will be directed to resolve their social issues. We have the opportunity to organize work in such a way as not to bleed dry the enterprise but to ensure its modernization and solve environmental problems that have accumulated over decades. This is a special responsibility for me personally, the trust of the President and the trust of our residents. I will try to justify him," Khabirov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to transfer 38.3% of shares of Bashkir Soda Company JSC to the ownership of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as another 11.7% plus one share - into trust management. Thus, the republic gained control over the enterprise and will manage its development.
