Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to be vaccinated against coronavirus. Vaccination is scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, the Russian leader announced at a meeting on increasing vaccine manufacturing.

"I would like to emphasize that vaccination is certainly a free choice, the personal decision of every individual. By the way, I am going to get vaccinated tomorrow", Tass quotes the president as saying.

Later, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin would be vaccinated with one of three Russian vaccines without disclosing which drug was chosen. "This will be one of our three vaccines," he said in response to a related question. "They are all good and reliable."

We add that to date, 130,942 doses of the Gam-COVID-Vac vaccine have been delivered to Bashkortostan. On March 20, the Bashpharmacia warehouse received 8,400 doses of the Gam-COVID-Vak vaccine. From March 22, the drug was dispensed to medical organizations of the republic. The first dose of the vaccine was administered to 118 361 people (90.4%), vaccination was fully completed in 58.2% (76 166 people).

Work is currently underway to open mobile vaccination points against the new coronavirus infection in Ufa shopping centers and a shopping center in Sterlitamak.
