Radiy Khabirov hit Top 4 media rating of Russian regional governors for January 2021

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, took fourth place in the Russian regional governors' rating for January 2021, published by the Medialogia company. He also overtook all his colleagues in the Volga Federal District in terms of media rating.

In the overall rating, the first line is taken by the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, the second - by the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov. The third-place belongs to the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov. The top ten also includes the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin, the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov, the governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov, the president of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Medialogia experts explain the high positions of the Head of Bashkortostan by the fact that several projects initiated by Radiy Khabirov were discussed nationwide, and the republic stabilized the situation with the coronavirus spread. The launch of the Anti-COVID Passport project was among the high-profile news. Radiy Khabirov explained that the document would be given to those who have undergone COVID-19 and who have antibodies, as well as vaccinated residents of Bashkiria. After discussion, it was decided that they would start to operate when at least 25% of residents are vaccinated against coronavirus.

In the course of his Address to the State Assembly, the Head of Bashkiria also announced that from January 28, the region would begin to lift gradually the restrictive measures introduced earlier due to the spread of coronavirus infection.
