Bashkiria State Assembly has begun to develop documents for upcoming Year of Health

Deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay of Bashkiria began preparing documents for 2021, which the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov proposed to devote to health and active longevity.

"This is a timely and important decision. The health of our citizens is a functionally crucial issue. It is directly related to a decrease in mortality and an increase in the population's quality and life expectancy. The life and health of people is the most precious thing we have," the Сhairman of the regional State Assembly, Konstantin Tolkachev, said.

According to the speaker of Kurultay, various laws are already in force in the region, which are aimed at increasing social protection of the population, reducing road accidents, developing physical culture and sports, supporting the production of organic food, restricting the circulation of alcohol and smoking in public places. The deputies intend to monitor and plan round tables, interagency interactions, and concrete measures for the coming year.
