Putin supported idea of Bashkiria's volunteer to insure non-medical personnel of hospitals

Deputy of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan, an activist of the United Russia volunteer center, Yakov Kugubaev, offered to insure non-medical personnel of hospitals against coronavirus infection. First of all, we are talking about specialists responsible for the stable operation of life support systems, oxygen, and other equipment. The initiative was announced on the first United Russia Social Online Forum with the participation of the President of the country on December 14.
Now, additional insurance payments are received by doctors who have got infected with the coronavirus. They are provided not only for doctors but also for paramedical and junior medical personnel, as well as ambulance drivers. Vladimir Putin supported the proposal of the Bashkir deputy to insure non-medical personnel of hospitals against coronavirus.
"During the discussion, we concluded that it is fairer to set off the time in the "red zone"—different levels of threats, loads. You are right; we should take a closer look at who supports medical institutions operation and how they do it. I will give this instruction to the Government. Thank you for such a proposal," the President said during the United Russia Social Online Forum.
The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, also took part in the Social Online Forum.
There is a volunteer center "Our care" in Bashkortostan, where activists help people during the coronavirus pandemic. There is a hotline for receiving applications from residents by calling a toll-free number: 8-800-201-89-03. Since March 2020, about 100 thousand people have already applied here for help. Volunteers in private cars deliver food and medicine to those in need free of charge, as well as help doctors working in COVID hospitals.
