Radiy Khabirov criticized BSC leadership for ecological situation in Sterlitamak

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at a visiting government meeting in Sterlitamak, which took place the day before, on December 7, emphasized the need to improve the environmental situation in the city.
"We have developed a roadmap together with Bashkir Soda Company shareholders to improve the environmental situation a long time ago, but we are not one step closer to its practical solution," said Radiy Khabirov. "The well-being of people is above all corporate disputes and discussions. The republic is ready to support any good initiatives of the company, including opening the once closed industrial production", said the Head of the Region.
He noted that the republic's leadership was gradually finding ways to solve the problems of local enterprises, and this was especially vividly manifested in the example of the Bashkir Soda Company.
"For many years, the problems of the enterprise have been accumulating without a solution. The recent decision at the federal level to return the company's assets to the state will positively impact its work and improve the "BSC" employees' situation.
Earlier, the Head of the Republic, during a conversation with the Bashkir Soda Company's trade union activists, said that the Bashkortostan authorities would support the General Prosecutor's statements Office of Russia on the return of BSC shares to state ownership.
Radiy Khabirov then noted that the republic's interests would not suffer in this case but would strengthen even more to manage the company further after all court decisions were taken.
"We assume that the shares will return to the ownership of the Russian Federation. Our position will only strengthen, and our stake will be significant, and we will manage the enterprise. We just have to wait a bit," said the Head of the republic.
