Bashkir parliament deputies plan to ban mobile zoos and dolphinariums

The deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkiria intend to achieve bans on mobile zoos and dolphinariums at the federal level. The people's representatives plan to amend the current legislation. According to the Chairman of the Bashkir Parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev, the need for such a federal document has matured long ago.
The same goes for dolphinariums. According to Konstantin Tolkachev, animals during transportation are forced to huddle in cramped cages, although they swim tens of kilometers per day in the wild.
The document states that if the law enters into force, the owners of mobile menageries will have six months to switch to a permanent mode of operation or sell animals to such establishments.
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the bear Tishka, a former circus artist, found in a cage in the forest, found a new owner - a farmer from the Iglinsky district of Bashkiria, Khasan Idiyatullin.
