December 31, 2021, is declared day off in Russia

The head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, signed a decree to transfer days off in 2021.
The following year January 2 and 3 fall on Saturday and Sunday. Since these are non-working holidays, it was decided to postpone them to Friday, November 5 and Friday, December 31, respectively.
Non-working Saturday, February 20, will be postponed to Monday, February 22, so that Russians have three days off in a row: from February 21 to February 23, or from Sunday to Tuesday.
In total, in 2021, Russians will have seven holiday periods: from January 1 to 10 (10 days - from Friday to Sunday), from February 21 to 23 (3 days - from Sunday to Tuesday), from March 6 to 8 (3 days - from Saturday to Monday), from May 1 to 3 (3 days - from Saturday to Monday), from May 8 to 10 (3 days - from Saturday to Monday), from June 12 to 14 (3 days - from Saturday to Monday), from November 4 to 7 (4 days - from Thursday to Sunday), the message says.
