Radiy Khabirov signed decree on holding Republic Day

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, signed a decree on holding the Republic Day on October 11. The document was published on the portal of legal information.

The organizing committee, headed by the Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkiria, Alexander Sidyakin, was charged to develop a plan for the preparation and conduct of events. Provision of festive decoration of streets, institutions, squares, public buildings, residential areas with the use of Russian and republican state symbols lies with the administrations of the municipal districts and urban districts of Ufa.

Besides, solemn, cultural, and sports events dedicated to the Day of the Republic will be held. Fairs, outdoor holiday trade are planned.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic was instructed to ensure public order and road safety. The financing of activities according to budgets and estimates is assigned to the relevant departments.

This year, October 11 falls on a Sunday, so the public holiday is carried over to Monday, October 12.
