BSC state share alienation is under personal control of Prosecutor General RF

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, on the instructions of the country's President Vladimir Putin, began checking the alienation of state shares in the Bashkir Soda Company. This was reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the supervisory agency, Andrey Ivanov.
On Wednesday, at a meeting with the government, the head of state instructed the Cabinet of Ministers and the leadership of the Republic of Bashkortostan to sort out the situation with the Bashkir Soda Company (BSC) and withdrawal of money to offshores.
“The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has organized a check on the legality of reducing the state's share in the largest enterprise in the industry - the Bashkir Soda Company. A consistent and fair assessment will be given to the actions of all persons involved in transactions with shares of the enterprise, as a result of which the state has lost control over it, ”Andrey Ivanov told the newspaper.
Based on the results of the check, the issue of taking measures to return the property complex to the state will be resolved.
Its implementation is under the personal control of the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov.
