For Bashkortostan, holding the Investment Sabantuy in the city of Sibay is very important, and we want to create a business environment to develop here, said the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, answering journalists' questions during a media scrum.

"I do not actually believe that many entrepreneurs from Ufa or other cities will come here. Therefore, it is necessary to create an environment here for local entrepreneurs to develop effectively. This is the purpose of the Investment Sabantuy. Any event, any campaign should be promoted. This needs to be done constantly, regularly, periodically. Therefore, we thought a lot about holding a forum this year or not. However, the epidemiological situation in the republic allows this to be done. Everything else today depends on a person's responsibility for their health. Therefore, here everyone must comply with the mask regime and all sanitary and epidemiological requirements," Radiy Khabirov said.

The Head of the Region noted that the "Alga" special economic zone, which was being created in the Ishimbaysky and Sterlitamaksky regions, would become a driver of the region.

According to Radiy Khabirov, the republic uses almost all the tools for supporting foreign investments that are available in the Russian legislation.

"But there is one advantage - we have an "Alga" special economic zone, which provides a number of benefits and all kinds of incentives for foreign entrepreneurs. Therefore, you are welcome! By the way, foreign investors are already entering it - Swiss and Turkish companies are negotiating with us. So we have everything for investors to work comfortably," Radiy Khabirov said.
