Editor-in-chief of "Echo of Moscow in Ufa" radio got caught into middle of clashes on Mount Kushtau

In Bashkiria, on August 15, Ruslan Valiev, editor-in-chief of the radio "Echo of Moscow in Ufa", was injured during the clashes between employees of the Bashkir Soda Company, representatives of the Roskhimprofsoyuz RB with protesters against the development of Mount Kushtau.

According to him, during the scuffle, he found himself in the middle of the physical confrontation between the two groups.

The journalist was doing his job - interviewing protesters. Just at that moment, a skirmish occurred. The Bashinform News Agency has a video showing that he barely managed to escape from this crowd.

Ruslan Valiev confirmed the incident in a telephone conversation. According to him, he received several scratches. After that, the chief editor of "Echo of Moscow in Ufa" continued to work in Kushtau, he did not need medical assistance.
