Bashkiria is not ready for second stage of lifting restrictions - Radiy Khabirov
Bashkiria is not yet ready for the second stage of lifting restrictions due to the coronavirus, the Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov, said at a briefing session in the government.
As Radiy Khabirov emphasized, the current situation with regard to the coronavirus is quite steady, but there are no significant improvements, "although we set the task to come up with better indicators by September 1".
"There is a fairly high level of infection spread in the republic. We are not yet moving on to the second stage of lifting restrictions due to the coronavirus. We touched on the issue of cinemas once. Our working date was set on August 15. We will watch how it goes, so let the cinemas get ready. But we will proceed from how the epidemiological situation in the region will improve or worsen. If we do not move on to the second stage, we will not open anything," the Head of Bashkiria summed up. "The task of the Ministry of Health is to prepare supplies. We must have in stock a bed capacity and, accordingly, medicines."
As Bashinform News Agency reported, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 6,851 cases of the new coronavirus infection have been registered in the region. The increase on the last day was 35 people.
