No more than 100 people should be in mosques in Bashkiria on Eid al-Adha - Khabirov

Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bairam), celebrated this year on July 31, must take place in Bashkiria in strict observance with all sanitary and epidemiological rules, the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, stated at a briefing session in the government on Monday.

According to him, the necessary consultations with spiritual leaders on this matter have already been held.

“On July 31, a Muslim holiday will take place - Eid al-Adha, a very beloved holiday. By tradition, it is customary to gather together, to make a religious offering. However, taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological rules, we held consultations with our spiritual leaders on how to conduct it. There are several standards for how to do it. This is one person per four square meters and no more than 100 people in a mosque. I ask you to pay attention to this."

At the same time, the Head of the Region instructed to pay special attention to the places of sacrifice.
