Head of Bashkiria amended decree on high-alert regime due to COVID-19
The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, made amendments to the decree on the high-alert regime due to the threat of the COVID-19 spread. It follows from the new edition of the document that the mandatory regime of self-isolation persists until July 26 for residents of the region over 65 years of age. Pensioners are allowed to leave their homes to buy food and medicine, visit communication stores. Older people can also go to gardens and summer cottages and visit cemeteries.
Besides, the regional operational headquarters to prevent the import and distribution of COVID-19 decided that sanatorium-and-health camps with full-time medical staff will be operational from July 1, as well as individual children’s health and school camps, labor and rest camps for children, the press service of the Head of Bashkortostan informs.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, on July 9, another 47 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Bashkiria. Thus, the total number of cases in the republic today is 5,778 people, 3,662 of them recovered, 19 died.
