Turnout at amendments to Russian Federation Constitution was almost 90% in Bashkiria

More than 2.8 million people voted in Bashkortostan as of 8 pm yesterday, at the time of the closure of the polling stations, which amounted to 89.78%. In Ufa, this figure was 85.5% as of 8.30 pm, in cities - 85.9%, in rural areas - 91.7 percent of the voters.

In total, more than 800 calls were made on the hotline of the CEC of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Residents asked to clarify the voting procedure, the essence of the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, and asked about the location of their polling stations.
