Radiy Khabirov: Ufa Urban Forum will be held annually

The International Urban Forum will be held in Ufa every year. This was stated by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov after signing several agreements as part of the plenary meeting of the forum.

“It was our intention to make our republic, the city of Ufa, a venue for the annual International Urban Forum. Firstly, it is meant to present a traditionally hospitable region with many sights of interest, and secondly, it is to attract the intellectual potential of the country and international institutions. It makes the republic stronger and more modern. We have reached such an agreement with the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities that our forum will be held every year under its auspices.”

The Head of the Republic noted that the forum brought him an opportunity to work closely with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov, with the Small Towns Development Fund, and colleagues from other regions.
