Early voting on amendments to Constitution RF started in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, an all-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation started ahead of schedule. Residents of the republic from 8 am to 8 pm on June 25 can vote on amendments to the basic law of the country at polling stations, as well as at home in compliance with all sanitary requirements.

According to the information of the regional Central Election Commission, 3431 polling stations are organized for voting in the republic. The planned number of voters is more than 3 million people.

As previously reported, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and to avoid large crowds, polling stations across the country will also operate on June 26, 27, 28, 29, July 1, from 8 am to 8 pm.

On June 30, the polling station commissions will work from 8 am to 2 pm.

For the safety of voters, thorough regular cleaning and disinfection of premises are carried out at each polling station, including the disinfection of door handles.

Safe distances are provided to minimize contacts between people. In addition to the usual marking on the floor, the furniture in the areas is arranged so as to maintain the recommended distance from 1.5 - 2 meters.

Visitors will have their temperature checked with no-contact thermometers. Citizens whose temperature is high will also be given the opportunity to vote - but in a separate room.

All polling stations are fully equipped with all personal protective equipment: masks and gloves at the polling stations are mandatory for everyone. Each voter is given disposable pens.
