Bashkortostan authorities called life expectancy increase as one of main achievements in 2019

One of the main achievements of 2019 was an increase in the life expectancy of citizens, said Andrey Nazarov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Bashkir Government, in his speech to the deputies of the State Assembly – Kurultay RB. Life expectancy for the year increased by 6.5 months and amounted to 72.64 years (in 2018 - 72.06). The republic may reach the top ten in the five-year period maintaining such growth, the vice prime minister marked.

The mortality rate from all causes amounted to 12.1 per 1000 people and decreased by 2.4% compared to 2018. Relatively to other regions, the republic rose by the end of 2019 to 31st position (in 2015 - 36th place).

The migration loss amounted to 4,216 people in 2019. In 2018, it was about 1.5 times larger and amounted to 6,648 people.

For 2019, within the framework of the national project “Demography”, 16 thousand families received 2 billion 240 million rubles of monthly payments for the birth of their first child and for each third or subsequent child. Besides, the amount of funding for social support for families with children amounted to 6.7 billion rubles in 2019.
