Radiy Khabirov told how voting on amendments to Constitution would be held in Bashkiria

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, in an interview with Mir 24, told about the preparations for voting on amendments to the Russian Constitution.

“Preparations for voting are going smoothly, in a regular mode. You know that it has an unusual time frame - not just one day, but a whole week of voting,” the head of the republic said. “This will help to ensure a social distance, to avoid large crowds. Now we are conducting organizational and logistical training. ”

Radiy Khabirov said that precinct commissions had opened in Bashkortostan, and each of them would have a fairly large amount of protective equipment: disinfectants, masks, and safety glasses.

Precinct commissions will be open seven days. There is also a possibility of voting outside the precinct commissions - at home and out. A number of mechanisms have been created in order to disperse the flow of people as much as possible. At the same time, the main work in terms of social distancing will be focused on July 1.

The head of the republic also explained how people with confirmed coronavirus infection and contact people would vote.

“We deliberately held a meeting with doctors on voting in the Red Zone. It contains about 200-300 people plus doctors work there. In total, these are several hundred people. The problem will be that, according to doctors and Rospotrebnadzor, the bulletin itself can become a carrier of the virus,” the head of the region marked. “Therefore, we are thinking about some special isolation measures and are conducting consultations with the Central Election Commission.”
