Radiy Khabirov specified where special measures still are in force

In the evening info show of RBC - ChEZ Next, the Head of Bashkortostan was asked whether the measures taken in the republic in connection with the coronavirus situation were justified. The host of the program called these measures quite stringent.
Radiy Khabirov replied that all measures were absolutely reasonable. He gave an example: when people went out a lot and actively met each other on May 9 and June 12, it was followed by the growth in the number of cases. When people remained in self-isolation and kept a social distance, there was a decline.
“We close places and create special regimes, such as: wearing masks, gloves, disinfection, a social distance - where people are in close contact, in shops, institutions, health centers, public transport. It makes sense to regulate it like this, and it works at the moment.”
The Head of the Republic recalled that the self-isolation regime continues to operate for the most vulnerable category of people - residents over 65 years old.
“We are observing a decrease now, and if it continues going in the same mode, we will see. There were days, 2-3 weeks ago, when there were more than 110 cases per day, and now we have fallen to 59. I think in the foreseeable future, we will switch to a more relaxed regulatory regime,” the Head of Bashkortostan said.
Radiy Khabirov expressed hope that on September 1, children would be able to go to schools. However, in the field of supplementary education, the elements of distance learning will be retained.
