Elena Malysheva called Infectious Diseases Center in Ufa “a super 21st-century hospital”

Radiy Khabirov took part in the daily evening show of Channel One, Doc-Talk. The topic for discussion was the new clinical and diagnostic Infectious Center, which is located on the territory of the Zubovo industrial park in the Ufa region. The Head of Bashkortostan told the participants of the program in detail about the new medical facility where patients with the new coronavirus infection were treated.

“We were preparing for the worst scenarios, and therefore it was essential to create a large bed capacity. At the same time, at some point, we thought that constantly reformatting ordinary multi-field hospitals was a rather tricky way. Moreover, other diseases do not disappear - cancer or cardiovascular diseases.

We have decided to quickly build such a hospital where we would mobilize, firstly, patients, secondly, technological resources, and thirdly, medical personnel. So that we treat adequately infectious patients in one place, ”Radiy Khabirov explained.

He said that the hospital had been built in a short time - 55 days. At the same time, the head of the republic emphasized that this was actually a capital building with a wall thickness of 50 centimeters, so it would be very warm there in winter and cool in summer.

“This is a high-tech facility. There is a lot of medical equipment. Therefore, it was built not only to combat the coronavirus. It will be a permanent infectious diseases hospital”, said Radiy Khabirov.

“This is magic,” said Elena Malysheva. “The infectious diseases hospital, as I understand it, is a high-tech hospital: with special ventilation, special air flows. It is actually a multi-field hospital, because a person with the coronavirus or something else may have a heart attack and appendicitis at the same time. They may need everything. It seems to me that a 21st-century hospital was built in Ufa”.
