Bulgaria Honorary Consulate to be opened in Ufa

An Honorary Consulate of Bulgaria will be opened in the capital of Bashkiria. The decision was made on June 3 at a meeting of the government of the republic. The newly created representative office will be headed by Russian Yaroslav Schroeder.

"He has vast experience in leadership positions in the private sector, and currently he is the general director of the joint venture "Ufa" specializing in the field of civil engineering. Yaroslav Schroeder's social activities are related to Bulgaria: he actively collaborates and holds cultural events with the Bulgarian community in Ufa, and since 2009 he has been the chairman of the regional public organization "Friendship of the Peoples of Bashkiria and Bulgaria," TASS was informed by the press service of the cabinet of ministers RB.

The Honorary Consulate of Bulgaria in Ufa will be engaged with the development of relations with Russia, the trade and economic ties of the two countries, and expand cooperation in other areas.
