Bashkiria received third largest funding from Russian Reserve Fund

Bashkiria received 8.075 billion rubles in budgetary allocations from the Russian Reserve Fund for equalizing financial opportunities. This is the third-largest federal funding in the country (after Tatarstan and the Kemerovo region).

Recall that on May 22, an order was signed by the Government of the Russian Federation on a budget allocation of 100 billion rubles by the Ministry of Finance RF from the Reserve Fund in 2020 to provide regional budgets with subsidies to support measures ensuring balanced budgets. In total, this order affected 56 subjects of the Russian Federation. The amount of subsidies for each subject is different, depending on how much its economy has suffered. These support measures are aimed at compensating for the decrease in tax and non-tax revenues of the consolidated budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in connection with the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection.
