Bashkiria organizes international "World After Coronavirus" online forum

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov on his social media announced the International Online Forum "The World After the Coronavirus: A View from the Heart of Eurasia" to be held on April 28. The event will be attended by the American writer, author of "The Black Swan" economic bestseller Nassim Taleb, physicist Michio Kaku, FuturMap founder Parag Khanna, producer Luke Besson, former Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, and other reputable speakers from 25 countries.

The online forum is organized by the Government of Bashkortostan, the Higher School of Economics University, and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The program includes ten sections and two plenary meetings. Among the Russian speakers are HSE Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov, ASI CEO Svetlana Chupsheva, Crimea Head Sergey Aksenov, journalist Yevgeny Primakov, member of the Economic Council under the President of Russia Andrey Repik, Business Ombudsman Boris Titov, and others. The event will be moderated by the Vice President of the Academy of Russian Television Alexander Lyubimov.

"Any crisis provides new opportunities. The level of our forum participants leaves no doubt that with their help we will be able to determine how to restore our republic as soon as possible, to provide all our residents with a comfortable life and confidence in the future. And this crisis gives us much food for thought. During the forum, you will learn about many innovations that we had to consider for combatting the virus. Besides, we will consult with our star guests what tools of the digital era should be implemented on an ongoing basis as early as possible in peacetime," the head of the republic posted.
