Radiy Khabirov: “We see that situation with coronavirus is far from being over”

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov admitted that he was delighted with the amount of work that volunteers did during the spread of new coronavirus infection. At a meeting with the leaders of volunteer centers, the head of the republic visited a call center where thousands of medical workers, caring residents of Bashkiria, businessmen, and representatives of political institutions work around the clock.

“You are solving critical issues of support for our residents,” Radiy Khabirov underlined. “We see that the situation with coronavirus is far from being over. Therefore, it is important to attract and train new volunteers so that we can increase the volume of support”.

Besides, the head of the region took part in Dmitry Medvedev’s federal conference call with representatives of regional volunteer centers to assist citizens in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.

Recall that in Ufa, a call center has been created. Volunteers take requests for the delivery of food, medicine, and other types of assistance via multi-channel telephone 8-800-201-89-03. They are performed within one to two days. In total, more than 8.4 thousand requests have already been processed.

All volunteers who work in the call center have been trained, including the basics of psychological assistance.
