Radiy Khabirov praised women's contribution to humanitarian sphere development

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov took part in a ceremony for the International Women's Day, which was held in the Ufa Congress Hall “Toratau”. The Head of the Republic congratulated women on the holiday and held a ceremony of presenting state awards.

“You impersonate mercy and compassion, patience and tact. It is no coincidence that most women work in the areas of healthcare and social protection, education, and culture. Increasingly, women hold important posts in government and local government.

Now, much is being done as part of national projects. In our republic, we are also making serious efforts to bring up children in comfortable conditions. It is already a year as we renewed the infant-feeding center system. School dentistry units are revived. We introduce swimming, wrestling, and chess lessons at schools. We create year-round multidisciplinary camps. And from September 1, 2020, all primary school children in the republic will have free hot meals.

I have just arrived from Belebey, where the other day, after a long reconstruction, a new hospital was opened. And there already two babies were born. We will further develop the obstetric care system, improve the availability and quality of care, build children's clinics, hospitals, kindergartens, schools, sports palaces,” the head of the republic stated.

Radiy Khabirov recalled that for the first time this year in Bashkiria “the stereotype that only a man can run a municipality” was overcome - Zuhra Gordienko was appointed the head of the Kiginsky district.

“I believe that the more women work in government, the better issues of social policy, protection of motherhood and childhood are resolved”, said Radiy Khabirov.
