Russia will suspend flights to South Korea due to coronavirus

Russia will suspend flights to South Korea since midnight on March 1. The restrictions were introduced due to the spread of the new coronavirus, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
“We extend all the restrictions that were in force until March 1 until April 1. The relevant regulatory documents will be tomorrow introduced by the responsible federal executive authorities and submitted to the Prime Minister for signing”, the publication quoted Golikova as saying.
It is known that Aeroflot Airlines (regular and charter flights) and Aurora (only charters) will continue to fly to South Korea. Passengers arriving from the country will pass through terminal F of Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
According to the latest data, the number of Covid-19 virus-infected in South Korea exceeded 1200 people, 12 patients died. Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor, Rostourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended that Russians should refrain from traveling to this country, as well as to Italy and Iran, where in recent days, there had been a sharp increase in the number of patients with coronavirus.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin set the government the task of minimizing human losses from the spread of the disease.
