Radiy Khabirov: Many problems of citizens can be solved only through prosecutor’s supervision

Prosecution authorities celebrated their professional holiday - the 298th anniversary of the supervisory agency in Russia. Yesterday, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov congratulated the staff of the republic’s prosecutor’s office on a professional holiday. According to him, they should carefully guard the law and protect the interests of common people. It is not by chance that in recent years the number of residents' appeals to the supervisory authority has tripled. The head of the region noted that many problems just could not be solved without the prosecutor's supervision. Radiy Khabirov praised the agency’s activities in protecting the interests of deceived equity holders and orphans, as well as in matters of oversight over the payment of the overdue wages.

The Head of Bashkortostan congratulated the new prosecutor of the republic, Vladimir Vedernikov, who was appointed to this post by decree of the President of Russia and wished him success. Congratulating the prosecutors on their professional holiday, Radiy Khabirov handed over state awards of the republic to the department veterans.

The prosecutor of Bashkortostan Vladimir Vedernikov in his speech, dwelled on several indicators of the last year. So, due to the professionalism and accurate work of the prosecutors, it was possible to identify the facts of the illegal alienation of land and premises in Ufa for more than 800 million rubles. Prosecutors also secured a return of 605 million rubles in the form of property and other assets in favor of defrauded equity holders.

The solemn meeting ended with a festive concert staged by the staff of the republican prosecutor's office.
