“Research and educational center creation is major breakthrough for our republic”: Khabirov

The creation of world-class research and educational center in Bashkortostan is a major breakthrough for the republic. This was announced by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov in his Message to the State Assembly RB on December 10.

“You know how essential it is for our republic, for its future. At the meeting with the President of the country, the first thing I mentioned was the issue of the research and educational center. I asked him to assist us, ”Khabirov said. “In the framework of this research and educational center, we will concentrate on four areas - chemistry, energy, medicine, smart devices, and aviation. We will seek technological leadership in these industries. We will open up new promising specialties and attract scientific minds. About 150 inter-university departments, new well-equipped laboratories will emerge. We will build a modern inter-university student campus for 5,000 students”, Khabirov stated.

According to the Head of the Region, the Eurasian Federal University will also be created in the republic.
