Radiy Khabirov: “Kushtau will be developed”

Mount Kushtau, part of the Bashkir Shihans, will be developed. This was announced by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov in his Message to the State Assembly RB on December 10.

“I will never agree to leave thousands of people unemployed. It is useless to try to break me down, put the screws on me, bribe journalists, and nationalists. It is attempted by those who just want to drive one company out of the market and launch their own. At the same time, they would enter a territory that is in no way inferior in natural resources to Kushtau. And for a few years, Sterlitamak would be left without nothing! We regularly study the opinions of locals. And be sure, each of them is very well aware of what a long-term soda production stoppage would have turned out for the city. And these organized attempts to pressure will be legally assessed”, the Head of Bashkortostan said.

Radiy Khabirov also stated in his Message that a regional management center would be created in Bashkiria.

“In a round-the-clock mode, it will ensure the collection and analysis of information, the adoption of operational decisions in all spheres of the life of the republic. The center will be also engaged in modeling and forecasting the socio-economic situation. ”
