Vladimir Putin's big press conference is scheduled for December 19

UFA, 22 November 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
The annual press conference of Vladimir Putin will be held on December 19. This was announced today by the Kremlin press service.
“The accreditation department of the Office of the Press Service and Information of the President of the Russian Federation starts accreditation to participate in the annual major press conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The press conference will be held on December 19, 2019”, the press service informs.
It is noted that applications for accreditation are accepted on the website www.kremlin.ru from representatives of the Russian media registered with Roskomnadzor and foreign journalists accredited with the Russian Foreign Ministry. The last day for receiving applications from journalists is December 5 at 5 p.m. Moscow time.
Vladimir Putin has been holding annual press conferences for Russian and foreign journalists since 2001. This press conference will be the 15th for the Russian leader. The shortest time was the first press conference of the head of state: it lasted 1 hour 35 minutes. In 2008, before Vladimir Putin left the government, his most extended press conference was held - 4 hours 40 minutes. Then he answered questions from a record number of journalists - 80 people.
The venues of the press conferences also changed: at first they were held in the 14th building of the Kremlin, but since 2012, events began to be held at the World Trade Center. The communication of Vladimir Putin with journalists is traditionally broadcast live on federal television channels.
