Andrei Nazarov held first meeting of new Bashkiria Government

On October 29, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Andrei Nazarov held a meeting of the Government. The issues of national projects’ implementation in the region and the results of priority development areas functioning were considered there.
Andrei Nazarov demanded that this work should be adjusted with the goals and objectives of the “September” Decree of the Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov. The document is full of social activities; up to 70% of budget funds are spent on them.
“We have three strategic goals: increase the gross regional product to 2 trillion rubles a year, achieve volume of investments in fixed assets to 500 billion rubles and the number of inhabitants of the republic should reach 4.1 million people by 2024,” the First Deputy Prime Minister. “To do this, we must build and reconstruct in the allotted time more than 700 objects of medicine, education, culture.
At the same time, the republic is in the top ten Russian regions in terms of total GRP, but the region is already 46th in the per capita division. On this basis, it is necessary to increase labor productivity significantly by 40-50%. ”
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB, the Government Chief of Staff, Ilshat Tazhitdinov, spoke about the progress in the implementation of national projects in the republic. More than 27.8 billion rubles of budget funds were allocated for the implementation of 58 regional projects in 2019. Of these, 14.5 billion rubles were federal funds. Such national projects as “Demography”, “Housing and Urban Environment”, “Health Care” were examined in detail.
Also at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov spoke about the results of the functioning of the priority development areas (PDA). It is planned to attract more than 100 new residents to PDA with the creation of 6.5 thousand new high-performance jobs.
Closing the meeting, Andrei Nazarov said that a draft government program was being formed, which would be presented for discussion at the next meeting of the Government RB.
