Radiy Khabirov: Investment activity of farmers is very encouraging

Today, Bashkortostan agrarians celebrate their professional holiday. This year, harvesting season became one of the most difficult in the last ten years, but despite this, the villagers coped with challenging weather conditions. The head of Bashkortostan, speaking at a solemn meeting dedicated to the Agricultural Workers Day, noted that this year, a good crop had been harvested - more than 3.3 million tons of grain, now the harvesting of sugar beets and oilseeds continues. The most substantial contribution to the general harvest of the republic was made by nine advanced districts, each of which threshed more than 100 thousand tons of grain. These are the Sterlitamaksky, Chekmagushevsky, Ilishevsky, Aurgazinsky, Meleuzovsky, Davlekanovsky, Karmaskalinsky, Chishminsky and Blagovarsky districts.

Among the best agricultural enterprises, the head of the region noted “Urozhay” agricultural enterprise, Bashkir Agroinvest, “Tsentralnaya” machine and tractor station, each of which harvested more than 100 thousand tons of grain. Another vital area is animal husbandry. Since the beginning of the year, 240 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat and 1.3 million tons of milk have been produced.

“We are completing eight projects worth a total of 9 billion rubles. Next year, it is planned to start nine projects with a total value of 23 billion rubles, including “Bashkirmoloko” in the Kushnarenkovsky district, “Severnaya Niva” in Belebeyevsky, “Urozhai” in the Aurgazinsky districts. Only these projects will increase the dairy herd by another 18 thousand heads. Such investment activity in the agricultural sector is very encouraging. This year alone, “Investment Hour” sessions approved 44 projects totaling 85 billion rubles, ”said Radiy Khabirov.

According to him, business activity is also growing in the processing industry. Dairy plants in Chishminsky and Baltachevsky districts were launched. Besides, the French company Savencia erects the largest soft cheese production in Europe in the city of Belebey. Meleuzovsky Dairy and Canning Plant began construction of the production facilities for baby dry mixes. There are several major projects in the meat industry. The most important area is the technical and technological modernization of the industry.

The head of Bashkortostan awarded the best regions of the republic for high achievements with government diplomas, and the ten best combine operators, machine operators, and drivers were handed over from the keys to the brand new Chevrolet Niva cars. And before the start of the solemn meeting, Radiy Khabirov examined the exhibition, at which processing enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and private farmsteads presented their products.
