Vladimir Putin met with elected regional leaders

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with 19 regional officials elected on the single voting day - September 8. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov attended the meeting. Vladimir Putin congratulated regional leaders on their election.

“I would like to wish you not to slow the pace of your work; keep working in this high position with the same passion as during the election campaign. You need to work hard to accomplish your promises to the citizens residing in the territories now entrusted to you. Most importantly, you should feel the pulse of life, feel what the people expect from you and how they react to what you do to meet these expectations. This is an essential thing”, said the head of state.

Vladimir Putin wished the elected leaders a sensitive attitude towards people.

“So this is a critical component in the work of any high-ranking leader like you. In closing, I would like to simply say that I wish you good luck. Congratulations and all the best.”
