Hospital complex with Geriatrics Center worth 20 billion rubles will be built in Ufa

A large hospital complex with the Republican Geriatrics Center is planned to be built in the Ufa Zaton neighborhood. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, said this at a briefing session in the government when celebrating the International Day of Older Persons was discussed.

According to the head of the republic, the instruction on the construction of the complex, which will also carry out the geriatric function, is set forth in the September Decree on strategic directions for the development of the region until 2024. The total cost of the object is estimated at about 20 billion rubles.

“I have already given the task to the Minister of Health. There is no need to delay it, start preparing the design assignment,” said Radiy Khabirov, addressing his Chief of Staff, Alexander Sidyakin. “And we will slowly start to push the federal component of it. It will cost about 20 billion rubles in the way we need this project. However, we have taken such a commitment, so please supervise it directly”.
