Andre Nazarov: we need twofold economic rise for fulfillment of Bashkiria Head decree

In order to fulfill social goals, indicated in the decree of the Head RB Radi Khabirov, we need twofold economic growth, acting Vice-Premier of regional government Andre Nazarov stated in the course of a briefing. One of the main decree’s goals is to increase Republican population up to 4 million 100 thousand people (4 million 50 thousand now) and for that It’s necessary to decrease death rate and increase birth rate thanks to improved medical care. In order to attract young specialists additional grants will be established and for students will be erected new student campuses. It is also expected local graduates will receive two diplomas: local and international. “We were asking why young people go and study beyond the Republic and they answered there they had better development and more prestigious diplomas” – acting Vice-Premier said. People’s incomes have to increase two times. The main goal in economics is reaching two billon rubles of gross national product (about 1,5 billion today) and for that it is necessary to attract at least 500 billion rubles of investments (270 billion at present time). “People, going in for business, and all those, working in economic sphere, must feel positive changes. The state is busy with making business conditions more comfortable. This is our responsibility zone and we will introduce certain supporting measures. As for security, it means that business mustn’t feel any pressure, no corruption. Tax burden should be quite transparent and it seems that certain steps have to be made to change federal legislation. The number of small and medium business subjects has to increase from 130 thousand to 170 and about 6 thousand new workplaces have to be opened in business sphere. “Summing all abovementioned up I want to say that the document, signed by Radi Khabirov, is very ambitious and at the same time quite well-balanced – for social development we need appropriate economics” – Andre Nazarov stated at the end of the briefing.
