Radiy Khabirov signed decree about “first five-year development plan” in Bashkiria

The Head RB Radiy Khabirov signed the decree about strategic directions in Republican development for the nearest five years, Bashkir Government reported today. According to Radi Khabirov the document is worked out in detail. In the nearest future, several briefings are scheduled, where members of the Government have to tell about key directions in development of our region and what exactly they will be busy with soon. News Agency “Bashinform” has already reported the team of Bashkortostan’s Head calls the decree about strategic directions of social-economic development RB “the first five-year development plan” and renewed Government will fulfill all instructions and plans. Its staff will be announced for a month. On September 19 during the inauguration ceremony, Radiy Khabirov has set an ambitious goal: Bashkortostan has to join the first five of Russian regions on five key directions – human potential, comfortable living environment, economic growth, investments, and infrastructure. “We are changing the economic strategy itself, coming from economics of consumption to economics of development” – the Head RB stated. As Radi Khabirov underlined the results of the forthcoming five-year plan have to be precise and tangible – death rate lowering, birth rate increase and “the level of life has to grow so that people will go into Republic and not from it”. “At present time Bashkortostan’s population steadily goes down every year and we’ll set an opposite trend. By 2024 our population has to make at least 4,1 million people” – Radi Khabiov stated. According to the announced strategy in five-year social-economic development RB the annual investment volume is scheduled to reach 450 billion rubles. Thereby the Republic intends to join Top 5 in the national investment development rating. One more goal is opening of as minimum as two special economic zones, which have to attract about 50 billion rubles, more than 100 new residents on the territories of advanced social-economic development. The opening of new industrial, agricultural and technological parks in every town and region of the Republic is of no less importance.
