State Council RB intends to pass the law, prohibiting selling vapes to kids

Next week State Council RB intends to pass the law prohibiting selling non-tobacco smoking mixtures, syrups, their analogues and means for their use – water pipes, vapes, electronic cigarettes etc – to kids. The bill is fully coordinated with positions of the World Health Organization Convention about struggle against tobacco and with prior directions of state politics in sphere of children health protection, news service of State Council RB reports. If the practice of such law usage is positive, this experience will be offered at federal level. “Adults usually use electronic cigarettes as alternative to usual ones to minimize the harm and further refuse from smoking but in case of kids we’re watching an opposite picture. As a rule, kids start smoking traditional tobacco, first coming through electronic cigarettes and other similar means” – Bashkir parliament’s speaker Constantine Tolkatchev mentioned.
