State Duma will host Days of Bashkortostan in October

In October, the Days of Bashkortostan will be held in the State Duma of Russia. The Chairman of the State Assembly RB Konstantin Tolkachev told Bashinform News Agency that an exhibition of the achievements of Bashkortostan will be organized in the building of the Lower House of the Russian parliament on Okhotny Ryad. The format of the event will differ from the days of Bashkortostan, which took place in March in the Federation Council.

“It is assumed that during the Days of Bashkortostan there will be communication and exchange of views with interested deputies in the committees of the Lower House. The program is being formed, this event will be useful and interesting both for our republic and for State Duma deputies,” Konstantin Tolkachev noted.

The State Assembly of the republic interacts closely with the State Duma of Russia. During the spring session, the Bashkir deputies submitted four draft federal laws to the State Duma. Currently, 14 bills are under consideration in the Lower House of the Russian parliament, and seven more are undergoing a preliminary examination. Once again, the State Assembly of the republic has become a leader among regional parliaments in terms of the number of legislative initiatives that have received the status of federal law.
