Head of Bashkiria: it’s just beginning

Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov positively assessed the current socio-economic situation in the republic.

“Our republic is developing, and this is very important,” Radiy Khabirov emphasized, answering the question of the journalist at a briefing with participation of Igor Komarov, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia. “The region has good financial indicators of economic development. This gives us an opportunity to build, improve the social sphere. You remember that spring and summer were saturated with a huge number of events. Ufa has become a venue for significant international and federal events. For example, just yesterday, the Ufa International Marathon was held - a spectacular sporting event”.

As the head of Bashkortostan emphasized, it’s just the beginning.

“Today all 1,310 schools started their operation. The pace is good. All the kids went to school. We have a lot of work ahead. We will prepare for winter, further develop the economy, complete large construction projects, which are due for completion by the New Year. It is necessary to complete the repair of a huge number of roads by November 15. Thus we have plenty of work to do”, he concluded.
