Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed a decree on Republic Day, October 11, 2019. The document is published on the legal information portal.

This year, the Republic Day celebration will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The organizing committee, headed by the Chief of Staff of the Head RB, Alexander Sidyakin, was instructed to develop a plan for the preparation and conduct of events.

It is recommended that administrations of municipal districts and urban districts ensure the festive decoration of institutions, streets, squares, public buildings and residential quarters using the Russian and republican state symbols. In October 2019, it is planned that municipalities hold ceremonial, cultural, and sporting events dedicated to the Republic Day, organize a celebration of the best workers of various industries and hold fairs.

The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Youth RB is tasked with organizing and conducting scientific and practical conferences, thematic evenings, festivals, contests, relay races, and other events; the Press and Media Agency RB - to organize extensive coverage of events, the Ministry of Internal Affairs RB - to ensure public order and road safety, the Ministry of Health RB - to organize medical services during the events.
